Fondata nel 1963 dai fratelli Pighin, l’azienda è oggi condotta con passione da Fernando e dai suoi fi gli, ed è costituita da terreni ubicati nelle zone D.O.C. Friuli Grave e D.O.C. Collio, per un totale di circa 180 ettari. “Un uomo non deve mai lasciare la terra come la trova”: questa è la fi losofi a della famiglia Pighin, da sempre impegnata nella valorizzazione delle proprie aziende e dei propri vini di fama internazionale, prodotti sotto la supervisione ormai trentennale dell’enologo Paolo Valdesolo. Nella tenuta di Risano si trova la Villa seicentesca, adibita oggi alle pubbliche relazioni, che ospita l’antica bottaia per l’affi namento dei vini rossi.

Founded in 1963 by Pighin brothers, the farm is today led with passion by Fernando and by his sons, and it is constituted by lands located in the zones of D.O.C. Friuli Grave and D.O.C. Collio, for a total of about 180 hectares. “A man must never leave the land the way he has found it”: this is Pighin Family’s philosophy, a family who has always been devoted to the improvement of its own farms and of its own internationally renowned wines, produced under the oenologist Paolo Valdesolo’s by-now thirty-year supervision. In the estate of Risano is situated the seventeenth-century Villa, today available for meetings and congresses, and where an old winery to refi ne red wines is also sited.

Der im Jahre 1963 von den Brüdern Pighin gegründete landwirtschaftliche Betrieb wird heute mit Liebe von Fernando und seinen Söhnen geführt. Er besteht aus Ländern, die in der Gegend Grave D.O.C. und Collio D.O.C. Friauls liegen, die sich über etwa 180 Hektar erstrecken. “Ein Mensch muß nie das Land verlassen, wie er es gefunden hat”: das ist die Philosophie der Familie Pighin, die immer mit der Verbesserung ihrer eigenen Betriebe und ihrer eigenen Weine, die unter der schon dreißigjährigen Leitung des weinbaukundigen Paolo Valdesolo hergestellt werden, beschäftigt sind. Im Landgut Risano befi ndet sich die Villa des siebzehnten Jahrhunderts, die heute als alter Böttchersaal für die Schärfung der Rotweine benutzt wird.
